Boards for sale at the Quik pro France, the money raised will go to Surf And Hope

The Quik pro France is comming again and we are happy to say that all the pro surfers boards we collected at the beginning of the year (see older posts) will be for sale in the Quiksilver foundation tent at the event.

It's 1000 euros for one board, amongst them Kelly Slater's, Steph Gilmore's, Mick Fannings and many other. Get quik not to miss the opportunity!

You can also get a 2€50 ticket to win Julian Wilson's board that will be given during his movie premiere "Scratching the Surface" on October 3rd. Just get a ticket in any Quiksilver Shop or on the event site.

All the money will go to Surf and Hope, with 1000€ we can do many things, in food helps, education, little cultural trips and of course a big helps for young kids to be able to surf...

Thanks again to the surfers, to quik and roxy to participate, and thanks to the ones who will buy a board!

C'est encore une fois la saison du Quik Pro France, et on est très heureux de vous annoncer que les planches de vos surfeurs préférés seront à vendre au profit de l'Association Surf and Hope.

Vous pouvez aussi acheter un ticket de 2,50€ dans tous les shops Quiksilver du Sud Ouest ou sur le site de compétition, pour gagner la planche de Julian Wilson au tirage au sort qui aura lieu le 3 octobre lors de l'avant première de son film: Scratching the Surface.

last trip fortaleza

we went to Titanzinho last month so i thought i would give a little update about the project,

the kidds are doing good, marcelinho is going back to school, and most of the little surfers look pretty focused on training and going to school which is a good thing. The house is almost ready, and three of the girls are going to be sponsored by roxy so they are frothing... we had a really fun time hanging out with them, here are some photos we got..

KASSIA MEADOR GIVES HER BOARD FOR SURF&HOPE

Famous surfer Kassia Meador who came to Biarritz for the Roxy Jam unfortunately broke her longboard during a session... But that was our luck because she gave it to the foundation to help the Titan Kids and their surf journey... We will try to sell it 800$, you can get just half of it and keep it as a piece of Art (her artist friends Colin Whitbread and Brandon Lomax painted it) or we get it fixed for you so you can surf it.

building the house...

on that photo you see the house we are building that will be like a little local for the kids,

we will get a lady to make lunch everyday and look after the kids, put a bunch of beds upstairs for those who would need a calm place to stay for the night, a little tv to show the surfing sessions that are filmed every week.

ROXY JAM starting tomorrow- pro surfer's boards for sale on site...

so that's it, the roxy jam is starting and some of the boards that the pro surfers gave will be for sale over there, in the charity shop. We gave up the idea of making the artists paint on them because we thought it would be cool for someone to get his favorite surfer's board just like it was ridden...the boards that will be there are:

the board will be sold 1000 euros, with that we can for example make 10 boards for the kids, or many other things...
